1. Request deletion in the app
Open LookHabit, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. Read the confirmation, confirm the account you intend to delete and complete the requested recent sign-in or password check. The app reports whether the request was accepted and can retain a receipt to recover its status.
An error is not a successful request. Keep the app and any deletion receipt until completion is confirmed; an interrupted request may need retry or support. Do not create a second account to try to delete the first one.
2. If you cannot access the app
The planned external request address is hello@lookhabit.com; use the subject Delete LookHabit account. Provide only the account email or another identifier you already use with LookHabit and a description of the access problem. Guest accounts may require additional proportionate ownership verification because they may not have an email. Never send passwords, full card details, identity documents or wardrobe photos unless a secure and necessary verification method is separately arranged.
This mailbox is not yet confirmed active. An operational external deletion-request channel and end-to-end processing must be verified before public release. Merely opening an email draft or sending a message is not confirmation that ownership was verified or deletion completed.
3. What account cleanup covers
The implemented cleanup targets the authenticated account, its cloud wardrobe records and photos, saved outfits, color profile, preference notes, account-linked scan-learning samples and other records beneath the account's data area. It also clears the account's local app preferences, queued learning samples and eligible owned photo files.
Deleting one garment has a narrower scope and does not automatically delete its separate learning events. Signing out or uninstalling does not delete cloud data. Other accounts on the device are not deleted by your request.
4. What may remain and why
Limited financial anti-replay and fraud-prevention claims are stored separately and can remain after account cleanup. Deletion-status receipts are retained for request recovery and retries. Soft-deleted storage objects may remain recoverable for seven days in the existing bucket. Other provider logs, diagnostic records, backups and copies shared to other apps are not all erased by the current account-cleanup implementation.
Exported model-development datasets and previously trained model weights are not automatically cleaned by deleting the account. Their inventory, retention and rights-request procedures must be resolved before public release. These limits do not remove obligations to honor applicable privacy rights.
5. Timing and verification
Deletion involves several services and may require retries. There is no verified end-to-end completion deadline for the replacement backend yet. The current 30-day deletion-receipt expiry and 24-hour AI-recovery windows are not promises that every personal-data copy is erased at those times.
Before public launch, the operator must verify the workers, provider settings, backups, request handling and an appropriate completion schedule. You should receive confirmation of the outcome, not just an acknowledgment that a request was received.
6. Cancel subscriptions separately
Account deletion does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Before deleting, open your Apple or Google subscription settings and cancel any renewal you do not want. Refund requests follow the store's process and applicable law. Removing an account must not be interpreted as receiving a refund. See the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for related information.
